It could be another long day for the Los Angeles Chargers, who have lost eight of their last nine games.
On a third-and-goal at the Kansas City Chiefs 5-yard line, Chargers quarterback Easton Stick fumbled, and Chiefs cornerback Mike Edwards recovered, returning it for a 97-yard TD. It gave Kansas City a 7-0 lead with 2:57 remaining in the first quarter.

Kansas City (10-6) has already clinched a playoff spot and an AFC West title, so it's resting its starters. Regardless, the play shows one of its strong suits: a stingy defense. Entering Week 18, the Chiefs are third in the NFL in points (17.6) and second in yards allowed (332.7).
The Chargers (5-11), meanwhile, are a mess. They fired head coach Bradon Staley after Week 15. Also, they're 21st in points scored (20.9) and 25th in points allowed (24.1).
L.A. must make significant changes this offseason to bounce back and make the playoffs next season.
