Brighton striker Joao Pedro is happy to keep "working harder" for manager Roberto de Zerbi.

Pedro scored twice in Brighton's FA Cup win against Stoke City.

He said, We are having to work harder because we are missing a lot of players.

Lots are injured and we need to be more prepared to play in other positions as (head coach Roberto) De Zerbi needs.

I know we are without wide players but me and Facundo (Buonanotte) have played that position before. We are used to playing there.

De Zerbi as well has got a formation which is helping us a lot.

We are benefitting from that and still trying to create a lot in wide areas."

Pedro added: I think my understanding and my combination with the team and how they play is what I have improved most.

How they play, I'm understanding it more, feel more intertwined in the team. It is fundamental for the team.

I try to keep improving. Other players are also looking to do this and we will always keep growing as a team."
