Former Celtic striker Oli Burke looks set to be sold by Werder Bremen as the nomadic forward looks to find yet another a new club. After an ill-fated loan spell with Birmingham City, which saw the Blues relegated to League One, Burke is heading back to his parent club but there is an expectation that he’ll be sold.

As reported by Deichstube , the former RB Leipzig and Nottingham Forest attacker will seek a new club in the summer transfer window.

At 27, Burke will now look for his twelfth club as he continues to look for a club that will allow him to get playing regularly. With him and his partner expecting, you would imagine that the player’s agent will be looking at options in England.

During his loan spell in the second half of the 2018/19 season, Burke initially impressed playing through the middle. Burke possessed some good qualities such as pace, power and tenacity but managed a few sitters during his stint – Rangers, Aberdeen and Livi stick out.

The ex-£15m man showed some flashes of what he could do playing some good football at Celtic but when Rodgers left, Neil Lennon didn’t seem to fancy the Scotland Internationalist. During his time in Glasgow, Burke scored four goals in nineteen appearances as Celtic completed the Treble Treble.
